Return and Refund Policy
PROVEEDORES INDUSTRIALES DE EQUIPOS Y REFACCIONES UNIVERSALES — PIERUSA
At PROVEEDORES INDUSTRIALES DE EQUIPOS Y REFACCIONES UNIVERSALES (PIERUSA), we seek to ensure that supplied products comply with the conditions established for each transaction. Due to the specialized nature of industrial products and because certain items may be sourced, imported or manufactured specifically for individual customers, all return requests are subject to prior review and authorization.
1. Return Requests
Before returning any product, the customer must contact PIERUSA and provide the information necessary to identify the transaction. PIERUSA may request the order or purchase order number, applicable invoice, part number or model, reason for the return, product and packaging photographs, and evidence of damage or failure where applicable.
Submission of a return request does not constitute automatic approval.
2. Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Products
If upon delivery the customer identifies visible damage, a product different from the one ordered, quantity discrepancies, missing items or visible packaging damage, the customer should notify PIERUSA as soon as reasonably possible.
PIERUSA may request photographs, transportation documents or other evidence required to file a claim with the carrier, supplier or manufacturer.
3. Potential Product Defects
Where a product appears to have a manufacturing defect, PIERUSA may assist the customer in initiating the applicable review process.
Approval of warranty coverage, replacement, repair or return will be subject to product evaluation and, where applicable, the manufacturer's policies. Warranty coverage may be denied where there is evidence of misuse, improper installation, modification, physical damage, improper storage or operation outside established specifications.
4. Products in Good Condition
Requests to return products that are in good condition are subject to prior authorization. The evaluation may consider the time elapsed since delivery, physical condition of the product, original packaging, accessories, documentation, manufacturer or supplier conditions, whether the product can reasonably be returned to inventory, and applicable logistics or administrative costs.
PIERUSA may reject a return when the condition of the product or supply conditions prevent its return to the manufacturer or supplier.
5. Products That May Be Non-Returnable
Except in the case of a manufacturer defect or another condition expressly agreed to in writing, products that may be considered non-cancelable and/or non-returnable include made-to-order items, products sourced specifically for a customer, specially manufactured or customized products, modified products, products specifically imported for a transaction, items requiring special certifications, permits or documentation, products identified as NC/NR or non-cancelable/non-returnable, and discontinued products specifically sourced to fulfill an order.
Where any such condition applies, PIERUSA will seek to communicate it before confirming the transaction.
6. Physical Condition of Authorized Returns
Except where a return results from an acknowledged defect or damage, the product should retain good physical condition, original packaging where applicable, labels and identification numbers, accessories, manuals, documentation and components originally included.
Authorization may be withdrawn if the product received does not match the condition previously reported.
7. Associated Costs and Charges
Depending on the reason for the return and the applicable manufacturer, supplier or carrier conditions, charges may apply for transportation, importation, handling, collection, restocking, inspection, cancellation or other costs directly associated with the return.
Any applicable charge should be communicated to the customer before the corresponding process is completed.
8. Refunds
Where a return is authorized and a refund applies, the refund will be processed after the applicable review and validation process has been completed.
The amount may reflect the specific conditions of the transaction and, where applicable, any previously disclosed and accepted costs associated with the return. The time required for a refund to appear may vary depending on the payment method, financial institution and applicable administrative process.
9. Replacements
Where replacement is appropriate, availability will be subject to inventory and manufacturer or supplier lead times.
If an immediate replacement is unavailable, PIERUSA will communicate the applicable estimated lead time or available alternatives.
10. Unauthorized Returns
PIERUSA may reject products shipped or delivered for return without prior authorization.
Authorization must be obtained before any product is shipped or delivered back to PIERUSA.
11. Specific Manufacturer Policies
Due to the nature of industrial distribution, certain manufacturers maintain their own return, warranty or restocking policies.
Where such conditions apply to a particular product, they will be considered as part of the applicable return authorization process.
